W. Quincy Quincy Brown

Managing Director

Quincy Brown is a managing director at FEG, focused on advisory and engagement of FEG’s client relationships. He has nearly 30 years of industry experience working with a broad array of clients, giving him a unique understanding of client needs. He leads by example, demonstrating the value of active listening, collaboration, and partnership. 

Quincy started with FEG in 1996, among the first analysts of the firm, serving in both an investment research and client service capacity. He rose to an advisor role and counseled largely nonprofit clients, including colleges and universities, community foundations, private foundations, healthcare systems, religious entities, and charitable organizations, serving these relationships during his entire tenure with FEG. He also served as FEG’s Director of Client Service, leading the analysts and teams that support client relationships. 

Quincy graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance. While in Columbus, Quincy was a member of the Student Investment Fund, which managed a portion of the University’s Endowment. He also worked in the Treasurer’s office at the University. Upon graduating, Quincy interned and worked at PNC Bank in the teller, wealth management, and trust departments.

Within FEG, Quincy leads or serves on various committees, including Diversity Equity and Inclusion, Diverse Manager, Responsive Investment, Culture, Business Continuity, and Technology Steering. He is also a member of the FEG Leadership Team. Outside of FEG, Quincy is currently a member of the University of Dayton Flyer Investment Fund Advisory Board, the YWCA of Greater Cincinnati Finance Committee, and formerly a board and advisory council member of The Know Theatre of Cincinnati.  Quincy is a saltwater aquarist, which has led him to dive or snorkel in the Great Barrier Reef, Hawaii, and the Cayman Islands. Quincy spent nearly two decades coaching youth sports, as well as couriering his children across the country for their sporting events.
